General Settings
Zan Image Printer is based on the Microsoft Universal Printer Driver(Unidrv) technology. Unidrv provides
standard property sheet pages such as the "Layout", "Paper/Quality" and "Advanced" pages.
The Color setting on this tab determines whether the output is in color or black and white.
The Black & White mode only allows you to print to monochrome BMP, GIF, PDF, PNG and TIFF files,
but it has the advantage of quickly saving the documents. The Color mode enables
printing to monochrome, 256, grayscale and true color images, but at the cost of slower printing speed.
For these standard printer settings, please note that Windows 2000 and above has the per-user
printer setting and default global(or system) printer settings. An application is
restricted to the global default printer settings. To print a document in a different
way, the user has to change the settings manually for each application each time it
is launched. The user can change the default global printer settings for Zan Image Printer.
Follow the steps below to modify the standard printer settings(such as paper size, DPI resolution/print
quality, orientation, and color mode) for Zan Image Printer:
To change printer settings for individual documents from within a program locally:
